Attention Advanced Practice Nurses:

Dr. Manish Chauhan, MD FACC FSCAI has developed a new app for cardiovascular providers to explain, discuss, and demonstrate most cardiovascular conditions, procedures, and devices with patients & colleagues using a library of short animation videos. This iPad app aims to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction while saving time, increasing efficiency for providers, and improving the overall quality of care. The Cardio-Visual app is simple, practical, and useful for daily use for all cardiovascular healthcare providers.  You can review the app at www.cardio-visual.com and is also available for download Cardio-Visual from the iTunes App store. MANISH CHAUHAN, M.D. is a practicing Interventional Cardiovascular Specialist at Cardiovascular Specialists of Texas in Austin, TX. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency with honors from King Edward Memorial Hospital at Bombay University, Bombay, India. He completed his residency and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases and lnterventional Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Chauhan was on the faculty of the Lahey Clinic in Boston as an interventional cardiologist, served as Director of the lnterventional Research and Clinical Trials program and was on staff of the Biometrics Dept. at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Chauhan has served as Lecturer at Harvard University and as Assistant Professor at Tufts University in Boston.

He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and lnterventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

He has authored several papers in major cardiology journals. Dr Chauhan currently practices general, non-invasive and interventional cardiology. He also directs the clinical research and new technology program for CST and is actively involved in several clinical trials of new devices and pharmaceuticals.

Dr Chauhan is involved in developing new patient engagement tools and is a consultant for several medical device and research companies.
