2014 Award Winners and More Updates

Congratulations to our 2014 scholarship winners Emily Cheek and Hayleyesus Gulilat and our 2014 APN Excellence award winner Rhonda Winegar! We were happy to present them with their awards last night. The APN excellence award recipient receives a $50.00 donation to the charity of their choice. Rhonda is donating her $50.00 to the Capital Area Food Bank as a part of our food drive. Additionally, we had very generous cash donations for the food drive last night totaling $89.00. Thank you!

We will continue to collect cash and food items for the next two dinners. The next scheduled dinner is Tuesday, May 20th. This is our yearly dinner in which we recognize members who have precepted at least one student (from any advanced practice nursing school program) over the past year. Again, if you haven't been a preceptor over the last year, please refrain from RSVPing to this dinner for a day or two after the invitation is posted. We would like to give as many of our preceptors an opportunity to attend this meeting as possible.
