How to Remove Your RSVP for a Meeting

Many times we RSVP to meetings, but then, our plans change and we can no longer attend.  In the past, members have been invited to email the Educational Program Chair directly to have their RSVP removed, but what if one doesn't have the email handy or it is incorrect?

There is an easier way to directly remove one's RSVP on the website. Please save these instructions, and should you ever need to cancel your RSVP to any of our future meetings, you can do so with ease and confidence, and thereby allow another member access to our meetings.

Here are the steps to cancel a RSVP:

  1. Login to the website
  2. Go to the "My Home" section / your user profile
  3. From here click on the "My Events" navigation tab. This section shows the events you have RSVPd for and also past events you've attended. If you have RSVPd for a event you will see this event listed in the "Upcoming Events I'm Attending" section. Directly under the event title you will see a link titled "I cannot attend, cancel my RSVP". Simply click this link and the RSVP will be canceled and an additional spot will become available for the meeting.
