Dr Diane Tyler elected " Fellow American Academy of Nursing "

The Austin American Statesman article by Nicole Alvardo December 6th 2010 recognized Dr Diane Tyler election as Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (promotes health policy and practice) The academy has about 1500 nursing leaders in education ,management ,practice and research.Fellows are chosen annually to recognize their effort in advancing the nursing profession. Dr Tyler has worked to inprove health care through research and scholarship .Helping overweight children have healthier lifestyles was focus of her $368,000 study funded by NIH.
