Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

The crisis in Ukraine shows no signs of slowing down and it will require a sustained response from Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). One of the best ways you can help MSF aid the people of Ukraine—and those in other countries facing urgent crises—is by making a generous donation today.

We remain in Ukraine, and in more than 70 countries, because we have a moral obligation to provide medical humanitarian assistance to people affected by war no matter who or where they are. I imagine you feel that responsibility too, Friend, since you have been a committed supporter of MSF. Will you step up and make your first gift today to help us continue providing urgent care in Ukraine and around the world?

Many Ukrainian hospitals are now facing dangerous supply shortages as needs skyrocket. Local MSF teams are in contact with hospitals receiving trauma patients who have been wounded as a result of the fighting. They are mainly requesting medical supplies for emergency and trauma care and surgery. Our first international shipment of supplies, including surgical and trauma kits and necessities for intensive care units, arrived in Kyiv on March 5.

Supplies will continue arriving in the coming hours and days. Meanwhile, experienced MSF emergency and specialist medical staff are entering Ukraine now to support teams on the ground.

We are working to rapidly scale up our medical and humanitarian response based on where we see the greatest need for MSF’s assistance.

Warmly,

Vera Eastman, MSF-USA
