TNP Legal and Financial Planning Issues for APNs

Posted over 13 years ago by Melanie Hampton

You are cordially invited to attend the TNP's first member educational seminar on basic family legal and financial planning issues for NP's to be held on Monday December the 6th at AANP/AANP Foundation Office, 2600 Via Fortuna Drive, Bldg 1, Suite 100, Austin.

A joint program of the TNP and the AANPF Foundation, the seminar will include important matters of topical interest presented by a volunteer attorney and volunteer financial planner. This is an "education only" seminar... attendees will not be "sold" any product, fund or advisor's approach.

Using an informal "Q and A" format, we will discuss: Why is a Will the foundation of all other planning? What is a Revocable Living Trust and what are its advantages? What simple steps now, can lead to a more financially secure retirement? What are the most recent changes to tax law and how might they affect us? How can I plan to help protect children or adults with special needs?

The seminar will begin promptly at 7:00pm and end at 8:30pm.

Light refreshments will be served.

Our Texas association has committed to be the first to launch what will become a national educational endowment program of the AANP Foundation. Please join me in giving a BIG Texas welcome to this important program to benefit our local NP's and their families.

Please RSVP to Emily at emily@texasnp.org.

To keep the informal nature of the session, attendance is limited.
