AAPN COVID-19 Relief Grant and COVID 19 Relief Fund on GoFundMe

The Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Organization (AAPN) has established a COVID-19 Relief Grant and has committed to donating $8,000 to help fellow Austin APN members significantly impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. A GoFundMe Account has been opened so that other members may donate and/or ask others to donate with a goal of matching the AAPN donation. Link: COVID 19 Relief Fund GoFundMe. Multiple grant recipients will be awarded based on need through review of the application below by the AAPN grant committee.

5. Submit essay answering the following: How would you benefit from this relief grant? Please also include:

• If there is a specific need or amount? What amount would you benefit from receiving (i.e. $100; $250; $500; $1,000; $1,500; or $2,000)? If chosen, billing statements may be required to submit payment directly to vendor.
• Are you currently working and where? How have your hours been affected by the COVID 19 pandemic?

All current Austin APN members, students and Advance Practice Nurses included, are welcome to apply. Members are also able to nominate other members but you will need to submit the essay as well as the identifying information for the nominated individual (Name, License Number).
