5th Annual GI and Liver Disease Conference for Primary Care and Nursing

on Saturday, March 23rd from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM at La Cantera Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas

Learning Outcome: Understand current, evidence-based screening, treatment and care recommendations for patients with liver and gastrointestinal disease and incorporate this knowledge into practice.

Objectives:

  • Apply screening, diagnosis and patient management strategies for chronic liver and gastrointestinal diseases including viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, complications of cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatocellular carcinoma, colon cancer and pancreatic cancer.
  • Describe recent clinical advances, including future therapies for viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, complications of cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and hepatocellular carcinoma.

 

Target Audience: MDs, PAs, APRNs, RNs and other allied health professionals/primary care providers with an interest in liver and gastrointestinal disease.
