The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) provides direct patient care in a primary care clinic. The clinic provides community based primary care seeing patients across the life span from newborn to geriatrics. The APC will function in concert with the medical director in a multi-disciplinary collaborative team environment and be able to function independently. Schedule will be flexible to meet community needs.

“Must-Have” Skills for the job: 

  1. Two years as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) experienced in family practice, urgent care, or express care setting 
  2. Master’s degree Graduate from an approved FNP or PA program 
  3. Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license to practice in the State of Texas; Current National Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or AANC certification) 
  4. Current BLS certification

Key Qualifications:

  • Licenses & Certifications: BLS, TX License
  • Minimum Education: Masters
  • Years of Experience: 2 years
  • Languages: English
